Spinning out of control, today one word—
tomorrow another, losing hope.
Can we recover from this, can the
universe tolerate imbalance, lost hope.
Anxiety looms with indecision, no conviction
Where the popular wind blows, false hope.
Power of the few, seemingly white
Greedy and male, no hope.
Can we find the energy and courage, empower our
daughters, give voice to the oppressed, glimmer hope?
Holding those accountable, raising the bar,
stripping greed and ego, some hope.
Looking for the good, caring for the careless.
Thoughtful words, kind actions, become contagious—all hope.
One response to “Hope”
Amen! and I refuse to lose hope. xx
