Power of the few, seemingly white

and male, no hope

Can we find the courage to empower our daughters,

give voice to the oppressed, glimmer hope

Holding those accountable, raising the bar,

stripping greed and ego, some hope

Looking for the good, caring for each other,

thoughtful words, kind actions, contagious–all hope
